Matt Wiltshire - Episode IV - A New Hope (For Societies)

Hello, and Welcome to my blogspace!

Firstly I have to start with a confession, I have to admit that until today I was a blogging virgin! I know, I know hard to believe! I also have to apologise to all those Societies and Working Committees who haven't been able to contact me for the last week. Its been a rollercoaster ride here in the Activities Department, as we have been changing rooms more in the last week, than Carol Smiley in an MFI summer sale. My current office for the next 6 weeks is the "Student Connections" Office on the corridoor behind the Gallery area in the Union building.

On a seperate note, this week I have been mostly eating Yoghurt, Carrots and Chocolate FlapJacks, in amongst setting both personal and team objectives for the year. This year 2007/2008 is going to be a fantastic year of change in our Union both in terms of the democratic structure but also in terms of physical structure (the Source area is being refurbished and the void being bridged as I speak!). Anyway, this is far too much talk for one blog, I will endevour to post my objectives here very soon.

As a final thought, I started today having never blogged before and I have to admit that now having completed my first blog (or 'popped my blog' if you will) it feels mighty fine!
I hope to be blogging pretty regularly to keep you informed of what I'm upto (and generally just because it feels so good)!

So until next time, this is Matt Wiltshire reminding you to...

Stay Classy, Sheffield ; )
